Accenture Plc (NYSE:ACN): On September 26, Accenture Plc (NYSE:ACN) announced its completion of acquisition of Octagon Research Solutions, Inc., a provider of clinical and regulatory information management solutions and software for the pharmaceutical industry. On the following day, the company released its financial results for the fourth quarter and full 2012 fiscal year that ended on August 31, 2012. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012, Accenture reported net revenues of US$6.84 billion, compared with US$6.69 billion in the same quarter of fiscal 2011, an increase of 2% in U.S. dollars and 9% in local currency. For the full fiscal year, net revenues were US$27.9 billion, up 9% in U.S. dollars and 11% in local currency from US$25.5 billion in the prior-year quarter. Shares of Accenture soared 7.11% to US$70.03 and made a new 52-week high of US$70.65. There were 9.83 million stock shares traded, which was 3.7 times more than average volume.
